Marsh welcomes you to the FERMA Forum 2019
#MarshFERMA #NextBeginsNow
The FERMA Forum is once again upon us and this year will take place in Berlin from 17 to 20 November 2019.
Marsh is one of just 6 strategic partners and will be present in Berlin with a futuristic booth and hospitality lounge.
And on Monday 18th November, Marsh will hold a cocktail reception for clients, prospects and carriers at an exclusive location: the German Spy Museum in the city centre.
FERMA brings together 21 risk management associations in 20 European countries. As the pan-European event, the FERMA Forum will welcome more than 1,000 risk and insurance professionals through its doors.
It’s theme ‘Aim For The Future’ sits perfectly alongside Marsh’s ‘Next Begins Now’ campaign: exploring new risks on the horizon and learning about the latest digital innovations across the industry.
What’s next for you begins now. We will share with you strategic risk and capital management insights, how to anticipate changes to your risk landscape, and how to become more resilient to global and local challenges.
Here you can find info on Marsh’s activities during the FERMA Forum, where you can find us for a quick chat or a coffee, and the topics we’ll be delving into across the Forum.
Key Topics
Industry Specialisation
Industry Specialisation for Marsh means aligning our knowledge with industries. Specialising in industries allows us to provide you with clear insights into the macro, regulatory and operational trends and issues – both locally and globally. Our client teams look across the firm - and by better understanding the risks and your business we are able to recommend and execute the right solutions as your trusted partner.
Transitioning Market
Marsh’s latest Global Insurance Market Index indicates that overall, insurance pricing in the third quarter of 2019 in Continental Europe increased by more than 4% year-over-year, driven primarily by property insurance. Property pricing rose 7%, the fourth consecutive quarterly increase and the longest trend of pricing increases in five years. Despite pricing pressures and increased underwriting scrutiny, capacity generally remains sufficient in most areas and particularly for organisations that differentiate their risks.
Join us at stand 13 to learn what trends we’ve been seeing in the major lines over the last few months, what you can expect in discussions with underwriters in upcoming renewals, and strategies you can use to improve renewal outcomes and more effectively manage risk.
